Vice President of Project Management
John started in the architectural woodworking industry in 1990 with Modern Woodcrafts. Previous years were spent with residential millwork and kitchens. John started on the shop floor and quickly became a team leader learning all phases of a project, including millwork, glass, metal, lighting, and installation. From there he was promoted to the Engineering Department where he has met the challenges of programming software, take offs, AutoCAD and Purchasing. His experience made him a perfect fit to transition into Project Management where he has been able to meet the very demanding schedules of retail projects, while still giving the full attention to detail our customers need and have come to expect from Modern Woodcrafts. John is now Vice President of Project Management overseeing all projects while mentoring our Project Management team. John’s greatest successes are his two sons; Eric who has gone on to excel in law school and John, Jr presently employed in the Engineering Department at Modern Woodcrafts.
Gerald L. Pelletier
Founder, Chairman Emeritus
Truly an icon in the industry, Pelletier never wavered from his original commitment to excellence during Modern Woodcrafts growth from a simple garage shop to one of the leading and most respected manufacturers of retail and commercial architectural interiors. As an industry leader, he advocated the highest level of business practices; hire the best people, use the latest equipment, treat each customer as if they are you’re only customer, and keep a positive attitude, and these principles remain, despite the ongoing challenges of business today. Pelletier continues to stay involved in daily operations on a consultant basis. Although he does not engage in the details of all projects, he has a firm grasp on the pulse of today’s business.
